Help nudge us towards bowling victory!
Our team is fundraising for the Workers' Bowl - an annual charity event run collaboratively by the Ontario Employment Education & Research Centre (OEERC) and the Workers’ Action Centre.
All funds raised will directly benefit racialized, immigrant and low-wage workers in precarious jobs through:
- Training: funding the annual training program run by the Workers' Action Centre
- Internships: funding the work of these workers as they develop skills in community outreach, public education, and rights in the workplace
- Education: ESL classes that focus on workplace rights language
- Organizing: infiltrating our communities through media, outreach, and online programs
All of this is done in Mandarin, Bengali, Punjabi, Somali, Spanish, and Tamil. Can you believe it?!
It's time for us to step up and help ensure this work continues - please consider making a donation to our team today.

Very important work . I was a Nurse Case Manager at the WSIB, and during Covid the horrible reality of immigrant farm workers came to light. I am most happy to contribute. All the best with your work.
