Help nudge us towards bowling victory!
Our team is fundraising for the Workers' Bowl - an annual charity event run collaboratively by the Ontario Employment Education & Research Centre (OEERC) and the Workers’ Action Centre.
All funds raised will directly benefit racialized, immigrant and low-wage workers in precarious jobs through:
- Training: funding the annual training program run by the Workers' Action Centre
- Internships: funding the work of these workers as they develop skills in community outreach, public education, and rights in the workplace
- Education: ESL classes that focus on workplace rights language
- Organizing: infiltrating our communities through media, outreach, and online programs
All of this is done in Mandarin, Bengali, Punjabi, Somali, Spanish, and Tamil. Can you believe it?!
